GROW
NEXTGEN YOUTH
6TH - 12TH GRADE
MIDDLE TO HIGH SCHOOLERS
This Generation. This Moment. God Is Moving.
NextGen Youth is more than a student ministry—it’s a movement of middle and high school students encountering God in real ways. We create safe, faith-filled spaces where teens can ask questions, find belonging, and grow stronger in their identity in Christ. Whether they’re worshipping together, serving others, or laughing with friends, they’re building a faith that lasts.
Middle and high schoolers meet weekly at 9:45 AM on Sundays for worship and engaging Bible teaching. We also host special events, service opportunities, and monthly gatherings to go deeper in discipleship and relationship.

AGE GROUPS

E.D.G.E.
(EVERY DAY GOD ENCOUNTERS)
Grades 6-8
We believe middle schoolers can experience God not just at church—but every single day. EDGE is a space where students explore their faith through worship, interactive lessons, breakout groups, and genuine connection. We help them see how the Bible applies to real life and empower them to live like Jesus in their daily choices.

Faith Focus:
God loves me and sees me.
God is always with me.
I can live like Jesus lived.
IGNITE
Grades 9-12
Ignite invites high schoolers to grow deeper in their walk with Christ and explore what it means to live on purpose. Teens attend the main service or serve in OA Kids and EDGE. Once a month, they gather for Bibles & Brunch—a space for high schoolers to build community, ask big questions, and discuss how faith meets real life.

Worship Built for Them
Every Sunday, EDGE students worship with our NextGen worship team—live music, student-led vocals, and a DJ that brings the energy. After worship, they head to their own class for relevant teaching and real conversations about life and faith.
High schoolers worship and grow in the main service or serve across NextGen. However they plug in, worship is where it all starts—with hearts open and hands raised.

Bibles & Brunch
Once a month, high schoolers step into their own space for Bibles & Brunch—a time to gather, eat, and grow in community. Over pancakes, eggs, and real talk, they dive into Scripture, ask big questions, and have honest conversations about life and faith.
It’s laid-back but powerful—a chance to be seen, heard, and spiritually fed in more ways than one. No pressure. Just good food, good people, and God at the center.

Youth Takeover Sunday
We believe teens don’t have to wait to lead. At NextGen Youth, students are encouraged to use their gifts now—on stage, behind the scenes, and in the classroom. Once a quarter, it's Youth Sunday, when students lead worship, greet guests, run tech, and share the Word in the main service.
It’s not just cute—it’s kingdom. Their leadership is helping shape the church of today and tomorrow.

Your Teen Has a Place Here
We're here to help them grow in faith—and have fun doing it.
NextGen Youth exists to help students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose. Whether they’re new to church or already on fire for God, they’ll find a place to belong, lead, and thrive.
