More than a church...We're a family.

Open Arms CLT is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church in Charlotte where real people experience the real love of God. Whether you’re brand new to faith, returning after a long time, or looking for deeper community, you’re already invited.

What began on Zoom in 2021 quickly grew into something more than a service—it became a movement. From parking lots to a dance studio, we’ve shown up with open hearts. Now at Ridge Road Middle School, we’re still showing up—with love, with purpose, and with room for you.

At Open Arms, our vision is more than words on a wall—it’s how we live our faith every day. These three simple but powerful actions guide everything we do as a church family.

SHOW the Faith.

Love God. Love people.

We believe love isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we demonstrate. From how we worship to how we welcome guests to how we serve one another, we strive to reflect the love of Jesus in everything we do. Our goal is for every person who walks through our doors—or encounters us in everyday life—to feel seen, valued, and embraced.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind... and love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:37–39

GROW in Faith.

We grow in our knowledge of Jesus.

Faith isn’t meant to be stagnant—it’s meant to grow. Whether you’re just starting out or have walked with God for years, we’re committed to helping you take your next step. Through Sunday messages, Connect Groups, and intentional relationships, we create spaces where you can grow deeper in your relationship with Christ and discover what it means to live out your faith in real life.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 3:18

GO share the Faith.

We share the good news and make disciples.

The gospel was never meant to be kept to ourselves. Jesus calls us to live sent—to bring His love, truth, and hope into the world around us. Whether it’s serving in our city, supporting missions, or inviting someone to church, we are a church on the move. Discipleship isn’t a destination—it’s a way of life, and we’re all called to it.
“Go and make disciples of all nations…”
Matthew 28:19

our mission

We are disciple makers.

Our mission is to create a disciple-making culture that starts with a heart of worship. We believe every person is called to know God deeply and share His love boldly—whether that’s in your home, your neighborhood, or around the world.

We don’t just come to church—we are the Church. And we each play a part in building the Kingdom.
