At Open Arms, we believe Jesus meant it when He said “go.”  That calling starts in our own city—and reaches around the world.

Whether we’re supporting teachers and families right here in Charlotte or packing meals for communities across the globe, we serve because Jesus served us first.

Outreach isn’t about distance—it’s about obedience, compassion, and love in action.  Wherever we go, we go to make disciples, meet needs, and point people to the hope of Christ.

Put on a hairnet and grab a scoop—it’s go time! At our Lifeline Packing Parties, you’ll help pack thousands of shelf-stable meals for kids and families both locally and around the globe. It’s fun, high-energy, and open to all ages, with teams competing to see who can pack the fastest (and loudest!). No passport needed—just a willing heart and maybe a little friendly trash talk.

Be a bright spot in a tough season. Every 4th Saturday from 8–10am, our team prepares breakfast and shares encouragement with families whose children are receiving medical care in Charlotte. This is a powerful way to serve with your hands and your heart. Ages 16+ only.

We don’t just meet at Ridge Road Middle—we serve it. From blessing teachers with gifts and appreciation lunches to providing supplies and meals for families in need, we’re committed to showing up for this school community. Our annual Christmas Serve Day lets NextGen Youth shop, wrap, and gift presents for RRMS students—because serving starts with seeing.

Hope Vibes brings dignity and compassion to those experiencing homelessness in Charlotte. We partner with them to distribute hygiene kits, operate mobile shower units, and build real relationships. It’s more than outreach—it’s presence.
